The family concept

With around 1,300 employees Hoval is not a big concern, but is rather a large family that thinks and acts globally. With its individual style, borne by enthusiasm, personality, commitment and enjoyment, it is dedicated to inspiring customers with its solutions and products.

We have excellent Hoval “family” members. The quality of our employees is decisive for our success, they make the difference when it comes to our performance. They are characterized by their:

Accordingly Hoval also bears a considerable degree of responsibility in its capacity as an employer. We recruit and develop our employees on the basis of their skills, their performance and their potential. We give our employees the opportunity to grow with us as part of a team, and to develop and plan their careers over the long term within the Hoval Group. Besides the further development of our employees, the training of young adults is very important to us, which is why Hoval employs 55 apprentices (status 2011) as part of a dual vocational training programme.

Alongside quality, the health, well-being and social security of our employees are also equally important concerns. Hoval offers its employees fair employment conditions and an active social partnership in a challenging environment.

High marks on employee survey

A group-wide employee survey was started in 2010. By means of this survey we want to gain important knowledge about the commitment and satisfaction of our employees and about the current status of the general organizational conditions.
In this survey we also measured ourselves against 90 other companies (the cash Employer Award 2010), finishing excellently in 9th place. The results of this survey prove that the identification and commitment of our employees is above-average and that we are therefore regarded as being an attractive employer. This is a great result of which we can be very proud. However, it also obligates us to make further efforts so that we can continue to be one of the best employers.
