The traditional brands in the world swear by their special brewing recipes and keep their production facilities securely under lock and key. From a bird’s eye view a helicopter approaches the production building of Pilsner Urquell in Plzeň to put Hoval RoofVent units in place. A total of 12 RoofVent LKW 9s in a 4-strip pattern have been providing for a pleasant climate in the brewery’s portal building since 2006. The units are controlled by means of DigiBac via the building management system.
RoofVent units are roof ventilation devices for the supply of fresh air and the removal of exhaust air. They heat and cool the supply air by way of integrated heat exchangers, saving energy through heat recovery or mixed air operation. They can even be equipped with a decentralized heat generating or chilling unit.
