Conditions of participation
These conditions of participation apply to all competitions run by the Hoval Group, headquartered in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, and its associated companies (hereinafter referred to as “Hoval”) on the company website and on its social media channels, particularly Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. These conditions of participation apply unless it is expressly agreed that different conditions of participation apply. Any participant’s conditions of participation that are different from, contradict or provide additions to these conditions of participation are hereby rejected. These conditions of participation apply even if Hoval allows a participant to participate in the competition without Hoval being aware of conditions of participation that deviate from or contradict these conditions of participation. By participating in the competition, the participant declares that they agree to these conditions of participation.
Eligibility and exclusion
Natural persons who are resident in Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or Austria and are 18 years old or over are eligible to participate in the competition. Participation is not restricted to Hoval customers and no purchase of goods or services is necessary.
All persons and Hoval employees involved in developing and running the competition, plus their family members, are not eligible to participate in the competition.
It is free to participate in the competition. Each participant is eligible to win no more than once. No cash equivalent shall be given and the prize cannot be transferred to someone else.
To participate in the competition, the participant must complete the entry form in full and return it. Entries may only be submitted within the period specified for the competition. Any entries received after this period has ended will not be considered in the prize draw.
Hoval reserves the right to exclude persons from the competition at its discretion if there is a justified reason to do so, such as:
a) Tampering when accessing or participating in the competition
b) Breaching these conditions of participation
c) Dishonest conduct
d) Providing incorrect or misleading information when participating in the competition
Prize, determining the winner, notifying the winner
Only the prizes specified for the competition in question shall be awarded. The winner shall be determined from all eligible participants who have submitted their entry form within the specified period.
The winner shall be determined after the end of the entry period by drawing a name at random from all the participants. Hoval shall be solely responsible for the draw.
The prize winner shall be notified via email shortly afterwards and must confirm that they have received this notification within two weeks. If they do not confirm this within two weeks, Hoval shall be entitled to determine a new winner through another random draw. The prize shall be handed over solely to the winner.
Handover of the prize, changes, shipping, additional costs, publication
Unless otherwise agreed, the prize shall be sent to the winner by post, using the address provided upon entry. The risk of accidental loss or deterioration shall transfer to the winner at the point when the prize is handed over to the forwarding agent. Hoval shall bear the costs associated with shipping the prize. The winner shall bear any additional costs associated with using the prize. The winner shall be solely responsible for paying any taxes on the prize.
No cash equivalent shall be granted and the winner may not exchange the prize or collect it themselves. The winner accepts any changes to the prize that become necessary for reasons outside Hoval’s responsibility.
By accepting the prize, the winner consents to Hoval publishing their full name on the company website and social media channels, particularly Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Ending the competition
Hoval expressly reserves the right to end the competition without prior notice and without the need to give any reason. This particularly applies in the event of any circumstances arising that would disrupt or prevent the competition running as planned.
Exclusion of liability
Hoval shall not be liable for any damage that arises from participation in the competition or in connection with the competition, unless there has been a deliberate or grossly negligent breach of legal duties. Additionally, Hoval shall not be liable for damage arising from the availability of the competition website being disrupted by technical problems, attacks by third parties or other force majeure circumstances outside Hoval’s responsibility. Hoval shall do everything that is technically feasible to ensure that the competition website remains reliable and functional. Additionally, Hoval makes no guarantee that the competition website will function correctly on the participant’s device.
Hoval reserves the right to end or amend the competition at any time without prior notice if the competition cannot be guaranteed run correctly for technical or other reasons or if it appears that the integrity of the competition has been compromised. This shall not give rise to any claims on the part of the participants.
Social Media
In addition to these conditions of participation, the policies put in place by Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn apply to the competition. The competition is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Facebook. Hoval is the sole point of contact and bears sole responsibility.

Exclusion of liability for user posts
Participants shall undertake to refrain from posting anything that offends public morality or is against the law. In particular, users shall undertake to refrain from posting anything
- whose publication represents an offence or misdemeanour
- that is in breach of copyright, trademark law or competition law
- that includes abusive, racist, discriminatory or pornographic content
- that contains advertising or
- that violates intellectual property rights.
Hoval shall not be liable for any damage that arises from participants acting in breach of this obligation, unless there has been a deliberate or grossly negligent breach of legal duties.
Applicable law
The law of Liechtenstein shall apply to the exclusion of international agreements (such as the CISG) and any provisions under Liechtenstein private international law that would lead to the application of foreign laws.
Data protection
To participate in the competition, the participant must complete an entry form. This requires them to provide certain personal data; in particular, their first name and surname, email address, postal address, date of birth, phone number, dwelling area and a project plan. The participant assures that the information they provide is truthful and accurate.
